Welcome to Rotorua – a world-class destination known for its geothermal landscapes, rich Māori culture, and backyard of ancient forests and sparkling lakes.

Our Partners programme starts from the Energy Events Centre, where we board the bus and make our way to Mountain Jade for a tour and presentation.  Our Mountain Jade guides will give an overview of the history and significance of New Zealand pounamu, covering where it is found, how it is formed, and the importance of the stone in Māori culture. Followed by a jade carving demonstration by some of the skilled artists who will also explain the carving process.  Time to look at the beautiful jade for sale here before we head to lunch.

Lunch is at The Terrace Kitchen, a private venue inspired by the Pink and White Terraces with a lovely courtyard.  Specialising in a seasonal modern menu using high quality ingredients, locally sourced where possible and some even grown in their own backyard. We have some special entertainment planned for the afternoon!

After lunch we make our way to Eat Street for a cocktail or if you prefer head back to the hotel or Energy Events Centre.

Don’t forget the Real Steel Hard Rock Happy Hour from 4:30pm at the Energy Events Centre.  Then the evening is yours to enjoy.
